An attack on the tourist camp of former Portuguese-Mozambican coach Carlos Queiroz resulted in the death of one person and the displacement of approximately two thousand. The incident occurred due to an incursion by insurgents from Cabo Delgado province, who looted, burned, and vandalized the camp's facilities.

Sources confirm that the camp, which is co-owned by Queiroz, was targeted in a violent attack during which the assailants inflicted significant destruction.

In addition to the death of one individual, the attack led to the evacuation of three American nationals from the site. These individuals were present at the camp at the time of the invasion and were removed to ensure their safety.

The situation in Cabo Delgado has been marked by armed conflicts, and the attack on Queiroz's camp is one of many incidents highlighting the escalation of hostilities.

This event has drawn international attention, especially due to Queiroz's connection to football and his current role as coach of the Ghana national team, but there has been no official statement from authorities regarding the attack.
