Shaun Chen, Ontario Liberal MP, announced his intention to resign at the end of this week. This decision is related to injuries sustained in a car accident in November 2022, which hinder his ability to fulfill all his duties.

According to sources, Chen stated that the aftereffects of this incident are impacting his health and performance as a member of Parliament. He was first elected in 2019 and represents the Scarborough North riding.
