OpenAI claims to have found a solution to the Navier-Stokes problem
OpenAI states that its AI system has solved one of the seven mathematical 'Millennium Problems,' specifically the Navier-Stokes equations describing fluid and gas motion.

On September 8, 2023, the company OpenAI announced that its internal AI model has solved the mathematical problem of the Navier-Stokes equations. These equations are part of the seven so-called Millennium Problems for which the Clay Mathematics Institute has offered a reward of $1 million each for a solution.
The system developed by OpenAI, supported by around 10,000 autonomous AI agents, achieved a solution in a period of 88 hours. The published paper reports that a significant breakthrough was made, referred to as a 'singularity' in the three-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations.
