OpenAI has begun to reveal information about its first hardware device, described as a donut-shaped speaker without a screen. According to reports from Bloomberg, the device will have a size similar to a hockey puck and will include a battery, camera, microphones, speakers, and moving parts.
Despite being dubbed the 'iPhone of AI,' the new product will not be a mobile phone. OpenAI has been working on this project for over a year and considers it a significant advancement in the development of artificial intelligence devices.
The launch is scheduled for 2027, with an estimated price ranging between $300 and $400.
