A 56-year-old paraglider has been missing since Saturday in Montsec d'Ares, Spain. Local media report that the search efforts have so far yielded no results. According to VRT NWS, the individual may be of a nationality other than Belgian, although local media identify him as a Belgian paraglider.

The search operations in Montsec d'Ares, a mountainous area in the Catalan Pyrenees, have not provided any leads to date. The circumstances surrounding the disappearance remain unclear, and no further details have been disclosed by the authorities.

In a related news item, a 19-year-old Belgian man, wanted in connection with a contract murder he allegedly committed at the age of 17, was arrested in Laarne, East Flanders. The young man had previously been considered missing, according to reports including the Spanish newspaper El País.

The suspect, S.C., is accused of killing a Dutch national in Fuengirola, Spain. The victim was shot dead outside a cannabis café, and the perpetrator is said to have fled the scene on a bicycle.

S.C. had previously undergone detention in a Spanish juvenile facility but had disappeared after his release. His arrest was confirmed by the East Flanders public prosecutor's office, which reported on the young man's fugitive status.

The combination of these incidents underscores the tragic news concerning the missing paraglider and the arrest of the suspect, with both cases tragically linked to Spain. Authorities continue to be active in both the search for the paraglider and the prosecution of the suspect in the contract murder case.
