PM Anwar Orders Immigration Probe into Fatal Maju Junction Crash

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has ordered the Immigration Department to conduct an immediate investigation into the fatal accident that took place at Maju Junction. He emphasized that if any wrongdoing is found, there will be no compromise in taking appropriate action against those responsible.

According to reports, the victims of the crash were on holiday in Kuala Lumpur and were from Kampar, Perak. One family member of the victims is currently in critical condition, according to police statements.

Home Minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail has instructed the Malaysian Immigration Department to fully cooperate with the ongoing investigation into the incident. Anwar reiterated the need for accountability, stating that negligence or breach of law will be addressed appropriately.
