Prince Harry and Celebrities Await Costs of Dismissed Daily Mail Lawsuit
Prince Harry and six other celebrities will find out the financial consequences of their dismissed claims against the Daily Mail's publisher following a high court ruling.

A high court judge in London dismissed claims made by Prince Harry and six other celebrities against Associated Newspapers Limited, the publisher of the Daily Mail. The judge ruled that the plaintiffs failed to demonstrate unlawful information gathering by the publisher.
The case included allegations of widespread unlawful activities such as phone hacking, which the court did not uphold. As a result of the ruling, the expenses related to the failed claims are now being assessed.

According to reports, the publisher is seeking an interim payment of £10 million. In contrast, Prince Harry and the other plaintiffs have offered to settle at £8 million, though the final outcome of costs remains undetermined.
This decision follows a series of high-profile cases involving various celebrities contesting the practices of the tabloid press, specifically targeting the Daily Mail and its associated titles.
