Upon her return to Norway, Princess Ingrid Alexandra has begun her studies at the University of Oslo after personal reasons necessitated her return.
Princess Ingrid Alexandra has started her studies at the University of Oslo after returning from Australia. The 22-year-old was enrolled there for her studies but decided to travel home due to personal reasons.
The reason for her return is reported to be the serious illness of her mother, Crown Princess Mette-Marit. She suffers from the incurable disease pulmonary fibrosis and underwent a lung transplant this summer. The situation with her mother required Ingrid Alexandra's return to Norway.
In addition to Ingrid Alexandra, her younger brother, Prince Sverre Magnus, will also begin his studies this fall, according to the palace. Both siblings are now pursuing academic goals in Oslo.
