PSV secures victory against Excelsior in Eredivisie
PSV has achieved its first victory of the season with a 2-1 win against Excelsior after a disappointing start.

On Saturday, PSV recorded its first victory of the season in the Eredivisie, winning 2-1 against Excelsior. This marked the third official match for the reigning champions, who drew against Fortuna Sittard last week.
The match took place at Excelsior's home ground in Kralingen. PSV started the game with Joey Veerman in the lineup and Kodai Sano on the bench. The team, led by coach Peter Bosz, hoped to secure their first three points of the season after a disappointing opening match.
Despite not playing convincingly, PSV managed to score the necessary points. Ruben van Bommel opened the scoring with an early goal, which was crucial for the team.

Excelsior fought back in the match, but PSV held firm and worked hard for the victory. The result is expected to ease tensions in Eindhoven, which had risen following earlier disappointing results.
The win meant that PSV could recover from a difficult start to the season, which was also marked by a slow-moving transfer period. Fans had hoped for a better performance from their team after the season opener.
With this victory, PSV can prepare for the upcoming matches, focusing on improving their performance in the league.
