At an economic forum in Vladivostok, Russian President Vladimir Putin described the blockade of Russian airspace threatened by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy as terrorism. He expressed concern over the lack of responses from the West to these threats, stating that Western allies could become complicit in international terrorism in this context.

Putin emphasized that Ukrainian actions complicate future peace negotiations regarding the war. According to his statements, Western countries have not shown sufficient concern for supporting Ukraine through their inaction. He pointed out that the international response to such threats is fundamentally lacking.

In addition to his critical remarks about the West, Putin addressed speculation about a possible new mobilization in Russia at the forum. He stated that there is currently no need for mobilization as Russia has adequate military personnel available.

In recent weeks, various reports about a potential mobilization in Russia circulated, which Putin dismissed as "complete nonsense." He rejected the speculation as a form of disinformation that could possibly be interpreted in the context of upcoming elections.

Furthermore, he commented that the possibility of a peace agreement in the Ukraine conflict remains, but is significantly hindered by aggressive measures such as the announced airspace blockade. According to Putin, it is therefore urgently necessary for all parties to seek de-escalation.

Putin's statements highlight his stance on the current geopolitical situation and the role of the West in the Ukraine conflict. The discussion around military strategies and possible negotiations remains intriguing in light of these developments.
