Rai has announced that the new hosts of Report will be Giulia Presutti and Daniele Piervincenzi. This decision marks a change in leadership of the program, which was previously led by Sigfrido Ranucci.

According to various sources, Rai has offered Ranucci three options: a position at Tg3, at RaiNews, or a correspondence office. His future role remains uncertain.

The program's veteran correspondents reacted strongly, stating that the decision is "unacceptable" and expressed their willingness to resign.

Rai's announcement described the choice of new hosts as a "strengthening of investigative journalism."

The correspondents' protests, which emphasize Ranucci's importance to the program, highlight internal tensions within the Report editorial team.

The current situation has sparked reactions from politicians, with figures like Floridia from the Five Star Movement discussing the "Meloni edict" and servility towards political powers.
