RFU delays start of community rugby season due to drought
The Rugby Football Union has postponed the start of the community rugby season to the week of 21 September because of drought conditions.

The Rugby Football Union (RFU) has announced a delay in the start of the community rugby season, now scheduled for the week commencing 21 September. This decision was made in light of ongoing drought conditions affecting much of England.
Concerns regarding player welfare and the poor condition of pitches due to dry weather prompted the RFU to take this action, aiming to ensure safe playing conditions for all participants.
