Rights holders of 'Dragon Ball' deny any agreement for a theme park in France
Announced plans for a theme park in Cergy-Pontoise related to 'Dragon Ball' have not been authorized by the Japanese rights holders.

The holders of the 'Dragon Ball' license have denied granting their approval for the construction of a theme park dedicated to the manga near Paris. This clarification comes after Emmanuel Macron and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced the project for three theme parks in Cergy-Pontoise.
The project, which specifically concerns the work created by Akira Toriyama, was presented on August 24. However, it has been reported that the necessary license for its realization was not obtained.
Representatives of the Japanese rights holders stated that they have never given their consent for such an initiative, thereby calling into question the feasibility of the project as announced by the two leaders.

Despite the announcements made by Macron and bin Salman, concerns regarding compliance with intellectual property rights are now at the center of discussions about this park.
This situation raises questions about how the partnership between France and Saudi Arabia on this project might evolve without the agreement of the rights holders.
