Rohingya refugees staged a protest in Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh, marking nine years since their exodus from Myanmar. The United Council of Rohingya refugees organized the demonstration to draw attention to the ongoing humanitarian crisis faced by their community.

More than 1.2 million Rohingya refugees reside in approximately 30 overcrowded camps in Cox’s Bazar, which is recognized as the world's largest refugee settlement. Protesters are highlighting severe aid cuts and are facing threats of forced eviction in Malaysia and India, according to reports.
