The Norwegian royal family accompanied the casket of King Harald V in a service through the magnificent halls of the palace. The procession took place in a calm and respectful setting to honor the late monarch.
Reportedly, family members were also present, including Mette-Marit. Notably, Marius Borg Høiby, Mette-Marit’s son, was able to attend the ceremony, despite being fitted with an electronic ankle monitor.
Attendees had the opportunity to say farewell to their beloved monarch. This final goodbye is seen as an uplifting moment by the public, while the family openly displays their grief.
