Russia tests intercontinental missile and acknowledges stagnation in peace talks
Moscow confirmed the launch of an intercontinental missile and admitted that peace dialogue with Ukraine is stalled.

Russian armed forces conducted a test launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile, according to a statement from the Ministry of Defense. This event occurred on the same date that the Kremlin admitted the peace process with Ukraine is "completely stalled."
According to reports, the missile, which uses solid fuel, was launched from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome, located in northwest Russia. The test range was approximately 6,000 kilometers.
In addition, Moscow notified the United States about the missile launch more than 24 hours in advance, as reported. This action may be related to established communication guidelines between the two countries on security issues.

In the same week, a delegation from the CIA visited the Russian capital, although details of this visit have not been clarified in the reports. The visit coincides with a period of rising tension between the powers.
Peace discussions between Russia and Ukraine have been a focal point, especially given the prolonged conflict. The Kremlin's acknowledgment of the stagnation in dialogue is a significant development in this complex situation.
International reactions to the missile launch and the peace statement are being monitored, given the potential impact these events may have on relations between Moscow and other global capitals.
