The Central Bank of Russia has included Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tether USDT in the list of cryptocurrencies that may be publicly traded on Russian exchanges, according to a statement from the regulator. This decision allows investors to buy and sell these digital currencies on licensed trading platforms.

However, the central bank has established an investment limit for non-qualified investors. According to this rule, they can invest a maximum of 300,000 rubles per year in cryptocurrencies. This limit applies to all involved intermediaries, including brokers, crypto exchanges, and asset managers.

The measures aim to regulate the market for digital currencies in Russia and provide users with protected access. The exact terms and implementation of these regulations are expected to be announced in the future.
