On September 2, the Russian ruble showed a noticeable decline, reaching a monthly low, while the euro and Chinese yuan also lost value.

According to the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan, the value of the Russian ruble fell to a new monthly low on September 2. As a result of this decline, the ruble is approaching the value of the Kyrgyz som. The Chinese yuan and euro also experienced depreciation on the same day.
Additionally, exchange offices in Bishkek reported similar developments. These show that both European and Asian currencies have lost value. In contrast, the exchange rate of the US dollar remained stable, which stands out in the current market environment.
This affects both the off-market sector and transactions in commercial banks, where all analyzed currencies, except for the US dollar, depreciated. The changes are viewed as part of the overall market developments that influenced exchange rates on September 2.
