Arsenal won its second match of the English Premier League season, defeating Aston Villa 1-0. The decisive goal was scored by Bukayo Saka in the 59th minute following an assist from Riccardo Calafiori.

In the first half, the Londoners struggled to create chances against Aston Villa's defense. Despite several attempts, clear goal-scoring opportunities remained elusive, turning the match into an intense midfield battle.

With the start of the second half, Arsenal played more offensively and pushed for the opening goal. Saka finally scored the crucial goal in the 59th minute, giving the defending champions a vital lead. This phase saw critical passes and attacks that increasingly pressured the Villa defense.

Aston Villa attempted to find a way back into the game following the setback, but they were unable to create significant chances. Arsenal's defense stood firm, allowing only a few opportunities.

After the victory at Villa, Arsenal remains unbeaten at the top of the table, sharing this position with Manchester City, who have also won all their matches so far. However, Arsenal does not lead the table based on goals scored.

Last season, Arsenal won the Premier League title after 22 years. Manager Mikel Arteta's team is still considered one of the favorites for the title. Additionally, Arsenal secured the Community Shield against Manchester City with a 3-0 victory the previous week.
