Sangineto, security guard dies after assault

Antonio Perrotta, a 34-year-old security guard originally from Fuscaldo, died at the Annunziata Hospital in Cosenza. He had been admitted to intensive care following emergency surgery in Cetraro due to the severe injuries sustained in an assault that took place outside a venue in Sangineto.

According to reports, the situation escalated after a dispute inside the nightclub, which led to the attack on Perrotta. Initially, the man had returned home, but his condition quickly deteriorated.

Currently, investigations are being conducted by the Prosecutor's Office in Paola, with the involvement of police and carabinieri, to clarify the circumstances of the incident and identify any potential culprits.
