One of the missing fishermen, Gautam Krishna, was reported missing after a fishing boat capsized near the Neendakara coast. The Navy's initial search operations are prioritizing his case, as stated by Coastal Police officials.
Divers are using portable SONAR technology to enhance their underwater surveillance capabilities as part of the ongoing search. The INS Kalpeni has joined the search team, arriving from Kochi to aid in the efforts along the coastlines of Kollam and Thiruvananthapuram.
Authorities remain committed to locating the fishermen, with the operations spanning across multiple locations. Despite challenging conditions, the search continues with the involvement of both local police and naval personnel.
