According to reports, he and three friends were in the area when he was swept away by the current. The friends managed to reach safety and alerted the authorities about the situation.

The search for Fabián Falcón was resumed by the Prefectura after being suspended due to a storm that complicated rescue efforts. Reports suggest that he knows how to swim, leading some to believe that he might still be alive.

Authorities have expanded the search in the waters of the Paraná River, with participation not only from the Prefectura but also from forces from two provinces, intensifying efforts to locate the missing man.
