Study on Long-Duration Missions Ends After 100 Days of Isolation
The SOLIS100 study conducted by the German Aerospace Center has concluded its research in Cologne after 100 days of isolation.

The SOLIS100 study, conducted by the German Aerospace Center (DLR), aims to investigate the effects of long space missions on health and performance. Within the framework of this study, six volunteers spent 100 days in isolation to collect data on physiological and psychological effects.
With the conclusion of the study, the participants are leaving isolation and are 'free' again. The findings from the 100 days are expected to enhance preparations for future Mars missions. According to DLR, this research marks an important step for planning in the field of space exploration.
