Serious Assault in Fossacesia During a Dispute

On the night between Sunday and Monday in Fossacesia, a 50-year-old man from Lanciano was seriously injured after intervening to defend his 16-year-old son, who was involved in a dispute with other youths. According to reports, the assault occurred outside a well-known nightclub.

The man was struck in the jaw, causing him to fall to the ground and suffer a concussion. He is currently hospitalized in critical condition at the Pescara hospital.

Authorities are investigating the incident to clarify the exact circumstances of what happened and to identify the assailant, a 19-year-old man.
