Severe earthquake in Colombia claims at least twenty lives and causes significant damage

On Monday, a severe earthquake with a magnitude of 7.4 struck western Colombia. According to various reports, at least twenty deaths have already been reported. This number is expected to be preliminary and may increase further.

The earthquake was felt in several cities, including the capital, Bogotá, where people evacuated buildings as a precaution. In the city of Pereira, eighteen victims have been registered, while at least two people have died in Manizales.
