Shooting incidents occurred in Sint-Gillis over Saturday and Sunday, injuring one man and sending a bullet into a residence.

On Saturday night, a man was injured in a shooting incident in the Brussels municipality of Sint-Gillis. The victim is not in life-threatening condition. This incident followed an earlier shooting at a police station in Anderlecht overnight from Friday to Saturday, where an assault weapon was used.

Following the shooting on Saturday, another shot was fired on Sunday morning in Sint-Gillis. This incident occurred near Hallepoort, where a bullet struck the window of a residence on Fontainasstraat.

Mayor Jean Spinette expressed his concern over the situation. He confirmed that the bullet fired on Sunday morning ended up in the bedroom of a resident.
In total, two shooting incidents have now been recorded within a span of less than 24 hours. The uproar in the neighborhood surrounding these occurrences is significant, especially given the previous attack on the police station.
