Shurendy Q. prosecuted in the Netherlands for eight murder cases

Shurendy Q. (43), the alleged leader of the criminal organization No Limit Soldiers (NLS) in Curaçao, is being prosecuted in the Netherlands for eight murders and various attempted murders. The Public Prosecution Service in Curaçao describes it as an especially serious case, asserting that Q. is responsible for these acts, often driven by revenge.

According to the prosecutor, Shurendy Q. is compared to the notorious criminal Ridouan Taghi. The accusations have been brought forward in a court case, where the judge in the Netherlands is investigating his role in a series of revenge killings.

Shurendy Q. has not provided any comments on the charges. He is being held in the Extra Beveiligde Inrichting (EBI) in Vught, where he has been detained since June due to safety risks for suspects in Curaçao.
