Jessica Schilder has won the European title in shot put for the third consecutive time at the European Championships in Birmingham. With a distance of 20.73 meters, she emerged as the best competitor despite a finger injury.
Jorinde van Klinken secured the silver medal with a throw of 19.64 meters. Both athletes repeated their performance from the European Championships in Rome in 2024, where they also won gold and silver.
