The Massaschade & Consument Foundation has announced that it will sue Snapchat on Monday. This is the second time a Dutch claims foundation has taken legal action against the social media platform in a short period.
According to the foundation, Snapchat does not do enough to protect its users from addiction. The lawsuit demands that addictive elements, such as the 'streaks' feature, be disabled.
Earlier this year, the same foundation also took legal action against Snapchat, indicating ongoing concerns about the platform's impact on its users.
