The African Football Confederation has confirmed its support for Gianni Infantino, welcoming and approving FIFA's apologies regarding the plan to sell World Cup shares.
The Mexican Football Federation has also reiterated its support, stating that the protection of football lies in respecting the institutions that ensure its integrity. Infantino has received backing from other South American federations such as Venezuela and Ecuador, joining Argentina and Paraguay.
Further confirmation of confidence in Infantino emerged during a meeting in Colombia, according to reports from ANSA.
