Supreme Court rejects appeal from 'Jabloko'

The appellate chamber of the Supreme Court of Russia has rejected the appeal from 'Jabloko' contesting the ruling from the first instance that denied the party access to the State Duma elections. This was announced by the party's press office.

Additionally, the appeal from the 'Rodina' party was also denied, which sought to contest the first instance decision. 'Rodina' had claimed that 'Jabloko' had violated copyright, but the court did not find any evidence to support this claim.

According to reports, 'Jabloko' plans to file a supervisory complaint with the Presidium of the Supreme Court to have the original ruling reviewed again.
