Surge for eclipse glasses ahead of solar eclipse
Across the country, glasses for viewing the partial solar eclipse are nearly sold out.
A significant rush for eclipse glasses is being noted ahead of the upcoming partial solar eclipse in the evening. According to BRF, many stores, including pharmacies, opticians, and supermarkets, have almost completely sold out of the glasses.
However, some retailers were able to place reorders, which generally sold out quickly as well. For instance, the Mertens pharmacy in Eupen reported that 240 eclipse glasses were sold within a short time this morning.
