Swimming pond De Mosten in Hoogstraten closed due to blue-green algae
The swimming pond at the recreational area De Mosten is temporarily closed due to the presence of blue-green algae, with free access for visitors.

The swimming pond at the recreational area De Mosten in Antwerp's Meer (Hoogstraten) has been temporarily closed following the discovery of blue-green algae. The Flemish Environmental Agency detected traces of these algae in the water during recent measurements.
Despite the closure of the swimming pond, the recreational area remains open to visitors. As a measure to compensate for the inconvenience, access to the area will be free while the swimming pond is not accessible.
Visitors are advised to exercise caution and to follow the guidelines set by local authorities regarding the presence of blue-green algae.
