Swiss Supreme Court acquits Luis Rubiales in recording case
The Swiss Supreme Court has acquitted Luis Rubiales following a complaint from Javier Tebas regarding an unauthorized recording.
The First Criminal Chamber of the Swiss Federal Supreme Court has issued a ruling that acquits the former president of the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF), Luis Rubiales. This decision follows a complaint filed in 2019 by the president of La Liga, Javier Tebas.
Tebas's accusation claimed that Rubiales had recorded a meeting of UEFA members without their consent, leading to the appeal brought before the Swiss court.
