Taylor Farms has decided to recall more than 20 products, including salsas and guacamole, from the market in the United States due to a salmonella outbreak. This voluntary recall affects products distributed in 26 states at chains such as Walmart and Target, according to reports. The company has acted after linking the outbreak to a grower in Sinaloa, which has led to an ongoing federal investigation.

This recall adds to the recent removal of lettuce related to cases of explosive diarrhea. Health authorities have indicated that the measure aims to protect consumers while the outbreak remains under investigation, raising concerns within the fresh food industry in the country.
