The National Court investigates the massive influx of migrants in Ceuta

The National Court has requested information from the Civil Guard regarding whether they had prior knowledge that could have alerted them to the massive influx of migrants in Ceuta. The judge overseeing the case has also requested data related to rescue operations and the individuals who lost their lives during the recent incident.

On the other hand, the Civil Guard has warned of a real risk of a new massive influx of migrants on August 15, describing the situation as 'more than a rumor.' However, the agency believes that this new attempt would not reach the scale of the one that occurred a week ago, although it notes that its success would depend on anticipation and coordination, which were absent in July.
