Thibaut Courtois, the 34-year-old goalkeeper of Real Madrid, has completed his first group training session for the new season after nearly a month off. The Belgian trained individually in the days leading up to this group session, after recovering from an injury sustained during the World Cup. Courtois looks forward to working with his former coach José Mourinho, who previously managed him at Chelsea.

José Mourinho, currently the coach of AS Roma, has named Courtois as one of his four "indispensable" players. This reflects Mourinho's appreciation for Courtois, whom he has even dubbed 'consigliere.' However, this title comes with the demand for extreme loyalty to Mourinho.

Courtois has noted that he appreciates Mourinho's communication style. He says that Mourinho is always direct and straightforward. The goalkeeper seems to enjoy this open communication, contributing to a strong working relationship between them.

During his first group training session, Courtois was visibly motivated and excited to start the new season with his teammates. He has stated that he aims to win titles again under Mourinho, just as he did previously at Chelsea.

The Red Devils, including Courtois, are currently reporting back to their clubs after the World Cup. This marks the beginning of the preparation for the new season, with other players also joining their respective teams.

Expectations are high around Courtois and Mourinho, as both are known for their ambition and achievements. Over the coming period, it will be seen how this collaboration develops further during the season.
