In Treviso, a city north of Venice, the Tiramisu World Championship will take place on October 9 and 10. Several hundred participants from around the world are expected to compete for the title of best tiramisu maker.
According to reports, 320 selected tiramisu creations will participate in this year's competition, featuring both classic and creative recipe variations. The submitted creations will be tasted and judged.
Judging will be conducted by a panel that includes both culinary professionals and amateur judges. Austrians have the opportunity to apply as judges and participate in the event.
The semifinals and finals of the championship will take place on October 11. In these decisive rounds, the final winning creation will be determined.
