Tragedy in Jujuy: Woman dies after her truck plunges off a cliff

An accident occurred in Jujuy when a truck fell 80 meters at the Cuesta de Lipán, a mountainous area connecting the Quebrada de Humahuaca with the Jujuy Puna. The woman driving the vehicle died at the scene; she was 58 years old.

There were four other people traveling in the truck who were injured and transported to a nearby hospital. Sources indicate that the incident took place on National Route 52, near kilometer 30, amid strong winds.

The accident has raised concerns in the local community due to the dangers of the road under adverse weather conditions.
