Manchester City has reached an agreement with Chelsea for the transfer of Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernandez for a fee of 140 million euros excluding bonuses, according to reports by L'Équipe. This transfer is expected to be one of the major deals on the last day of the summer transfer window.

As part of this summer market, Manchester City is also looking to bolster its attack by acquiring Senegalese player Iliman Ndiaye from Everton for a fee potentially reaching 65 million pounds, approximately 75 million euros. Talks regarding this acquisition are ongoing, according to The Guardian.

Chelsea, for its part, is working to finalize several transfers before the close of the transfer window. The London club has multiple leads to strengthen its squad, including discussions to bring in Manu Koné and Lamine Camara, according to reports from RMC Sport and L'Équipe.

However, Chelsea may also be compelled to expedite the process to sign a replacement for Fernandez if his transfer to Manchester City goes through. Media reports indicate that negotiations are underway to bring in a French international as well as a talent from Ligue 1 in the event of Fernandez's departure.

Meanwhile, AS Monaco recently rejected an initial offer from Chelsea, valued at 45 million euros plus bonuses, for player Lamine Camara. This underscores Chelsea's determination to act swiftly in the final sprint of the transfer window, despite strong competition for signings.

The potential acquisition of Enzo Fernandez by Manchester City and the possible departure of several Chelsea players raise questions about the dynamics of the transfer market and the player movements of the clubs involved. Developments in the negotiations will continue to be closely monitored until the official closure of the transfer window.
