U.S. President Donald Trump has signed a memorandum that establishes a program allowing American private companies to participate in cyber operations. The goal is to combat transnational criminal organizations, such as Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC) and Comando Vermelho (CV).
According to the White House, this initiative aims to empower federal authorities to use cyber tools to target these organizations operating in foreign jurisdictions, with the intent to protect American citizens.
