The Turkish parliament has passed a law titled "Law on Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration," aimed at reintegrating fighters from the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK). According to RTBF, this legislation is seen as historic in the context of the peace process initiated by Ankara.

The law would allow some PKK members who choose to lay down their arms to return to civilian life, as reported by franceinfo. This measure is part of a broader effort to create favorable conditions for peace in Turkey, started nearly two years ago.
