Singer-songwriter and actor Tutti Fenomeni, also known as Giorgio Quarzo Guarascio, will perform at the opening ceremony of the Venice Film Festival 2026. The event will take place on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, in the Sala Grande of the Palazzo del Cinema, starting at 7 PM.

The ceremony will be hosted by Greta Scarano and Nicolas Maupas and will feature the presentation of the Golden Lion for Lifetime Achievement to George Clooney, with a tribute by Laura Dern. This recognition will take place before the screening of the film Ink, directed by Danny Boyle.

Tutti Fenomeni returns to the Lido after his participation in the film Enea by Pietro Castellitto. His performance at the Venice event marks an important moment in his artistic career.

In previous years, the Venice Film Festival has hosted many significant events, attracting major stars from the world of film and music. This year, particular attention will be focused on Clooney, who is highly anticipated by guests and the attending press.

The opening ceremony will require formal attire for all attendees, and spectators are preparing for a glamorous event with many prominent names from the film industry expected on the red carpet.
