A passenger train derailed between Haywards Heath and Lewes in East Sussex, resulting in two serious injuries and nine additional minor injuries among passengers. The incident involved a Southern Rail train traveling from Victoria station in London to Eastbourne, which had approximately 150 people on board at the time of the derailment.
