In the Russian region of Samara, Ukrainian drones launched an attack this Friday on a large fuel depot. This site is considered the largest in Europe and is owned by the state consortium Transneft, according to information shared on Telegram channels.

In parallel, Russia also conducted airstrikes, targeting a power substation in the Kyiv region. The attack occurred overnight and was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defense, which also dismissed the possibility of an energy truce with Ukraine.

The fuel depot struck in Russia, described as the LPDS Samara tank farm, spans over 200 hectares. This attack comes amid Russia's claims of having shot down a significant number of drones, totaling 646 across 13 regions on the same night.

Additionally, attacks on other infrastructure in Russia were reported, including a refinery and a factory in the city of Volgograd. These military actions from both sides reflect the intensification of ongoing conflicts between the two countries.

Ukraine has escalated its aerial operations against targets in Russia, while the Russian response has focused on hitting essential infrastructure in Ukraine, as evidenced by the attacks on power substations.

The continuous attacks and heightened military activity indicate an escalation in the situation, with both sides conducting operations that reflect the growing tension in the conflict.
