Ukrainian drone attack in Tatarstan: 12 dead and 39 injured

According to Russian sources, a Ukrainian drone attack in the Tatarstan region resulted in 12 deaths and 39 injuries in Nizhnekamsk. This attack, described as the deadliest since 2022, reportedly targeted refining facilities in the area.

Moscow authorities have accused Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky of wanting only war. Kyiv, for its part, has confirmed the attack, stating that the target was a refinery.

The Kremlin has also announced measures against the anti-war party Yabloko ahead of the Duma elections in September, suggesting a tense political context related to the ongoing war.
