Unhygienic Conditions at Bengaluru Assembly Complex Canteen
Officials found cockroaches and expired food items in the canteen of the Mallige Hotel at the Assembly Complex in Bengaluru.
Officials reported that the restaurant of the Mallige Hotel located inside the Legislators House, adjacent to the Vidhana Soudha, was in unhygienic condition. Cockroaches were discovered in the kitchen, raising concerns over food safety.
Additionally, the canteen serving the Karnataka Health Department in Arogya Soudha was also noted for poor conditions. Food products were allegedly not stored in compliance with FSSAI guidelines, and pest control measures had reportedly not been implemented.
