In the Brussels derby on Sunday, Union defeated Anderlecht 3-0. This was the first confrontation between the two clubs this season, in which Union clearly took control.

Anouar Ait El Hadj, a former key player for Union and youth product of Anderlecht, was missing from the match. His absence was noteworthy for the fans, who remembered his contributions to both clubs.

Union delivered a strong performance and impressed in all areas. The team was much better, tougher, and sharper than their opponent, according to multiple sources.

After the match, Union's players emphasized that this victory should become their standard. They expressed full confidence in their style of play and teamwork.

Despite Anderlecht qualifying for the League Phase of the Europa League, the club continues to struggle in the competition. The defeat against Union was yet another in a series of disappointing results.
