The United States will begin to resume avocado inspections in Michoacán, according to reports. This decision comes after security agreements were reached with the Mexican government.
Michoacán is the leading avocado exporter in Mexico, with approximately 90% of its shipments destined for the U.S. The resumption of inspections will facilitate the flow of exports to the U.S. once again.
