The USS Abraham Lincoln, an aircraft carrier with a crew of 5,000, departed from Thailand after a five-day port visit. The vessel docked just north of Pattaya, offering rest and recreation opportunities to its personnel after an extended deployment in the Middle East, according to Free Malaysia Today.

Naval deployments, such as that of the Abraham Lincoln, typically last from six to nine months, but can be extended during periods of conflict, as reported by The Independent.
